Modutek Corporation will exhibit at Semicon Taiwan 2026, September 2–4 at TaiNEX (Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center), presenting its wet processing equipment alongside a new AI platform for subfab management.
Modutek Heads to One of the Industry’s Largest Trade Events
As one of the semiconductor industry’s largest and most influential trade events, Semicon Taiwan draws fab operators, OSATs, and equipment innovators from across the global supply chain to Taiwan’s manufacturing ecosystem. Modutek will exhibit within the California Pavilion at Booth #S7330.
Modutek has designed and built wet processing equipment at its San Jose, California facility for more than 45 years, serving customers from small research labs to high-volume fabs. The company is recognized among semiconductor equipment manufacturers for its wet processing and infrastructure intelligence solutions.
What’s on Display at Booth #S7330
Attendees at Booth #S7330 will see Modutek’s wet processing systems, chemical delivery technology, and precision cleaning equipment. Alongside this equipment, the company will introduce its SmartFAB™ AI Engine, a platform that brings real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and closed-loop automation to chemical delivery, wet process tools, and fab infrastructure.
The SmartFAB™ AI Engine is made up of three parts:
- SmartCHEM™ – chemical intelligence for monitoring usage and dosing
- SmartMAINT™ – predictive maintenance for wet process tools
- SmartSCRUB™ – emissions intelligence for fab infrastructure
Together, these are designed to give fab teams visibility into chemical usage, equipment health, and emissions before those factors affect yield or uptime.
What Modutek’s Leadership Is Saying
CEO Vineet Shrivastava said Modutek’s engineering team configures equipment — and now its AI-driven monitoring — around each customer’s specific chemistry, throughput targets, and process requirements rather than a single standard system. He added that SmartCHEM™, SmartMAINT™, and SmartSCRUB™ are meant to give customers real-time visibility so they can catch problems before they affect yield or uptime.
President Douglas Wagner pointed to Taiwan’s position at the center of the global semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, calling Semicon Taiwan the event where the industry’s next generation of process and infrastructure innovation takes shape. He said Modutek is bringing the SmartFAB™ AI Engine and its Intelligent SubFab platform to Taipei to show what’s possible when decades of wet-process engineering are paired with real-time predictive intelligence, and that the team is looking forward to connecting with Taiwan’s fabs, OSATs, and foundries at Booth #S7330.
